Overview

Interport Capital is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role provides essential analytical support across fund-level accounting, portfolio financial reporting, and corporate budgeting. You will work closely with our Controller and CFO to maintain the financial infrastructure that underpins our investment operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working across multiple fund entities and asset-level financials. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to deepen their expertise in real estate private equity fund accounting within a growing, entrepreneurial firm.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple fund entities and SPVs in accordance with GAAP, supporting timely and accurate investor reporting.
  • Assist with fund-level cash flow forecasting, capital call and distribution calculations, and waterfall computations for carried interest and promote allocations.
  • Support the annual audit process by preparing workpapers, reconciliations, and schedules for external auditors and tax professionals.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions across the Interport Capital fund family.
  • Build and maintain financial models for corporate budgeting, expense tracking, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or fund administration, preferably within real estate, private equity, or asset management.
  • Strong command of Excel and financial modeling; experience with accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. CPA candidacy or progress toward CPA licensure strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, fund accounting principles, and real estate financial concepts including NOI, cap rates, and debt service coverage.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Benefits

$85,000 - $115,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus

Competitive base salary plus annual bonus, full medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with employer matching, CPA exam support and study time, professional development budget, and exposure to all aspects of real estate private equity fund operations.
