Overview

Interport Capital is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Analyst to join our Real Estate team in Englewood. This role is central to our investment thesis, providing the quantitative rigor and market intelligence required to source, underwrite, and close commercial real estate acquisitions across our core asset classes: hospitality, self-storage, and aviation infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work directly alongside principals and senior leadership to evaluate new opportunities, build institutional-quality underwriting models, and conduct thorough market and property-level due diligence. We are looking for a professional who combines analytical precision with a genuine passion for commercial real estate investing.

Responsibilities

  • Underwrite prospective acquisitions including hospitality, self-storage, and aviation assets using institutional-grade financial models (DCF, IRR sensitivity, waterfall distributions).
  • Conduct thorough property-level and market-level due diligence, coordinating with third-party consultants, legal counsel, and property management teams.
  • Prepare detailed investment committee memoranda that articulate risk-adjusted returns, strategic rationale, and capital structure recommendations.
  • Monitor existing portfolio performance metrics and assist with asset management initiatives including capital improvement programs and refinancing analysis.
  • Source and screen new acquisition opportunities through broker relationships, off-market channels, and proprietary deal flow.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investment banking (real estate group), or institutional real estate asset management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Argus Enterprise, Excel-based financial modeling, and real estate valuation methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. CCIM or CFA progress preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate capital markets, debt structures, and joint venture documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses to senior stakeholders and institutional partners.

Compensation & Benefits

$120,000 - $155,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus

Competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus, full medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with employer matching, co-investment opportunities in Interport Capital funds, and professional development support including CFA/CCIM sponsorship.
