CEO
Jack McClurg
Jack McClurg is the founding principal behind Interport Capital and is also the primary principal of McClurg Century Investments (MCI) which he founded in 2012 as a multi-generational family office. MCI has participated in a wide variety of investments, including an array of real estate investments. Prior to forming MCI, Jack McClurg was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of HealthTrans LLC. HealthTrans was a Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) company offering technology and services that focused on transparency in all claims and financial data. HealthTrans was ranked the 9th largest provider of pharmacy benefits services by AIS, and was also ranked 4th largest PBM, based on total claims volume and 7th largest by revenue by Business Insurance.

President
Gary Roffe
Gary Roffe is the President of Interport Capital and is also a Managing Partner and Founder of Cypress 16. Prior to 2018, he served as Managing Principal and Chief Operations Officer for Miller Global Properties, a private equity real estate firm. Gary has successfully raised more than $600 million of equity and secured $1.2 billion of debt for commercial real estate investments across the country. Prior to joining Miller Global, he practiced law in the area of corporate finance for the national law firm Kutak Rock. In addition, for 15 years, Gary owned and operated Stephany's Chocolates, a manufacturer, retailer and wholesaler of premium boxed chocolates.

Sr. Vice President
Ryan McClurg
Ryan McClurg is the Senior Vice President of Interport Capital, and is also a Managing Partner of McClurg Century Investments for 8 years. During his time with the company, he has provided diligence and deal structure support on numerous investment deals and has participated in the management of several operating entities. He was a co-developer of Mineral Self-Storage and provided operational support for Coulton Creek Capital in its early days. Prior to joining MCI, Ryan was a researcher in the field of synthetic organic chemistry with research interests in small-molecule synthetic methodologies, medicinal drug discovery, and electronic polymers production.

Managing Director
Zach Lane
Zach Lane has been involved in private equity commercial real estate investing over the past decade, specializing in hospitality and multifamily housing. His expertise spans acquisitions and asset management for both stabilized properties and ground up development. Zach has successfully overseen a diverse range of real estate investments, including the transformation of an offsite panelized multifamily housing manufacturing company from a developer’s concept to over $100 million in equity value, and the full-scale renovation and repositioning of a 369-room Hilton property. He is heavily experienced in real estate transactions, including both acquisitions and recapitalizations. In the hospitality industry, Zach has managed investments in a wide variety of Hilton, Marriott, and IHG brands.

Controller
Christy Bemi
Christy Bemis has been the Controller at McClurg Century Investments (MCI) and its subsidiaries since 2012. Before MCI, Bemis managed the accounting department at HealthTrans LLC, which grew to be one of its largest pharmacy benefits managers. Christy was part of the HealthTrans team from 2007 to 2011 when it was sold. Bemis began her career in public accounting as an auditor at Grant Thornton LLP and is an inactive CPA. Bemis has maintained the accounting records for nearly 25 McClurg family entities over the past 15 years.

Leon Hurley
Leon Hurley is a Project Sponsor at Interport Capital and is also a Managing Partner and Founder of Cypress 16. He specializes in real estate development, including all phases of planning, design, and construction. Prior to 2018, Leon was a Senior Vice President of Development at Miller Global Properties where he oversaw all aspects of design and construction for development projects consisting of hotels and office buildings throughout the United States. Prior to Miller Global, Leon was principal and founder of an architectural firm focusing on multi-family, residential, mixed-use, retail, and hospitality projects.

Senior Associate
Keylan Butler
Keylan joined Interport Capital in August 2023. In this role, he supports the evaluation of new investment opportunities, assists with due diligence, and contributes to portfolio management. He also plays a key role in preparing investment memoranda and conducting market research.Before joining Interport Capital, Keylan spent some time in London’s fintech startup space, where he supported the investment team by researching startups, analyzing market trends, conducting due diligence, and assisting with deal sourcing.
